DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship is the life-long process of being transformed into Christ-likeness. We encourage you to journey with friends who can guide and support you just like the first disciples did.

Where are you on your spiritual journey?

New Believers’ Small Group

New believers from Alpha Course begin their new life together in a small group to learn what it means to be children of God and disciples of Christ.

The group led by mature disciples meet weekly for about 2 hours to learn about their new faith, new master, new identity, new habits and new family.

If you’d like to find out more about the new believers’ small group, please contact us. Email James at james.ang@brmc.org.sg

Intentional Discipleship Group (IDG)

Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” – Matthew 16:24

Disciples must make a conscious decision to follow Christ intentionally. If you have been a believer for more than a year and you would like to make that decision now, we invite you to join an Intentional Discipleship Group (IDG).

A Very Small Group
The group will comprise a leader and 2 or 3 members of the same gender. Members must be committed to regular attendance.

Weekly Meetings
Weekly meetings will be held at a time and place convenient to the group.
The group will use tested materials on discipleship as basis for discussion at meetings. You may also attend events, prayer meetings or serve together.

Duration
The group will support and be accountable to one another in the journey from 12 weeks to 1 year. (Group members will decide on the length of their group life as they journey together.)

If you’d like to join an IDG, please fill in an application form. You can also contact us to find out more. Email James at james.ang@brmc.org.sg
