We are Inclusive, welcoming everyone to worship God with us. All BRMC worship services are Trinitarian and Evangelical: Glorifying the Living God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit and focusing on God’s Mighty Acts to save us in Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures. Indeed, Christ has Died; Christ is Risen and Christ shall Come Again!

The Pastors of BRMC together with many volunteers, have the privilege of conducting 11 worship Services throughout the week with 9 taking place on Sundays.

The 8.30am Upper Room (Charismatic) Service on the 6th floor of the Methodist Centre building at the ACS Auditorium (temporarily during the refitting project).

Singing here is more contemporary but with opportunities to pray passionately in the Spirit. Charismatic gifts are encouraged in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Cor 12-14). Holy Communion is on the second Sunday of the month.

For more information on BRMC worship Services, please call the church (Tel: 6256 4298) on weekdays during office hours: 9am to 5.30pm, Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm or contact BRMC Admin at admin@brmc.org.sg. See you soon in church!

BRMC Chittoor Mission Trip Report

8:30am Upper Room Service (Charismatic)

upper room service
“Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.” Isaiah 62v10
“Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded my holy ones; I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath – those who rejoice in my triumph.” Isaiah 13v2-3

On 25th March 2007, BRMC launched her Charismatic style of worship service. This worship service is known as “Upper Room (Charismatic) Service”. The service is one where the practice of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is encouraged for the edification and building up of the Body of Christ.

Apart from the Preaching of the Word, Praise & Worship, the order of service includes elements of congregational simultaneous praying as well as a time of silence and waiting to watch the Lord as a congregation (1 Corinthians 14:26). Both the time of loud simultaneous praying and keeping quiet before God to receive a fresh word (both personally and congregationally) are unique experiences of the members attending Upper Room Service. There will always be a time of altar ministry after each service.

Some of the reflections of the URS members:
“URS is a cozy and warm service where I can feel God’s strong presence during the worship, prayer and the Word. The word or scripture released by URS members edifies the body and I leave the service feeling very blessed and refreshed by the Lord. I thank God for what He is doing in the URS and I am excited to see more souls saved, hearts transformed and healed by the power of the God”
“The uniqueness of the URS is the free expression of worshippers in praise and worship and exercising of spiritual gifts. At times, the presence of God is very strongly felt by the congregation. Surely, the Lord is working in this service!”
“The URS is like a big magnet. It is so powerful it attacts us to church every Sunday without fail! It is so powerful it overwhelms us with the Holy Spirit during the service! And its so powerful it draws us closer to Jesus Christ every day! Praise be to God indeed!!
