In 2006, God brought together a small group of Christians from Barker Road Methodist Church to plant His vision of a faith community at Bukit Batok. After a decade of planting and sowing, God has established an inter-generational faith community with a strong missional focus. Oasis BRMC Mission@Bukit Batok, also known as Oasis, serves and reaches out to the community through:
- Tuition for needy students
- Praise Kidz, a fun-based Christian programme to plant seeds of faith in children
- Parent Fellowship, a gathering of parents to learn from experienced speakers on various parenting issues to promote parenting confidence
- St Luke’s Hospital Ward Adoption
- Neighborhood Befriending
- Children and Youth Sports
