Ministry for Singles

In October 2006, we went to Myanmar to teach English as a foreign language to young working adults. We had a great time interacting with them and we also managed to visit several interesting places. On Sunday, we led in a worship service in a Methodist Church at Yangon.

We have completed our studies of the book "The Five Love Languages for Singles" by Dr Gary Chapman. Our current studies are on "Friendship". We believe that God has created us for relationships. Hence, we will thrive in one another's presence and friends will help us mature emotionally and spiritually, helping us no matter what and teaching us about forgiveness. Starting Saturday 6 January 2007 and then every 1st Saturday of the following months, the 12 studies will introduce us to biblical principles for friendship and to powerful stories in the Bible about friends. They will encourage us to discover the richness of godly friendships.

Put on your pair of walking shoes and join us in admiring God's creation at the Southern Ridges. The walk begins at HortPark, across Alexandra Arch, Telok Blangah Hill, Henderson Waves, Mount Faber (estimated 2 hours) and will end with dinner at VivoCity.
