Vision To build reproducing ministers for Christ
Aims Meeting regularly for worship, study of God's Word, fellowship, and service, the Small Group provides an environment of care, encouragement and discipleship. Members should grow in maturity in Christ and develop a passion, focus and direction for service in BRMC's various ministries and beyond.
BRMC now has close to 90 Small Groups within the BRMC family. This includes those in the Mandarin ministry, the Youth Sunday School and the Young Adults Ministry. There are several Groups that are inter-generational.
If you are interested to know more about this ministry, or to join a Small Group, please contact: Mrs Betty Ong 9827 4289; email:

At our Retreat for the Small Group Leaders on 6 September 2008, we presented the Methodist heritage and a biblical perspective of the Small Group Ministry.
The biblical perspective is centered on Ephesians Chapter 4.
The historical heritage is encapsulated in John Wesley's Class Meeting, as researched and documented by D Michael Henderson in his book A Model for Making Disciples (Evangel Publishing House, 1997). A write-up on the features of John Wesley's system and the GENERAL RULES OF THE METHODIST CHURCH that relates to that system is available on request.
