Methodist Child & Youth Centre (MCYC)

Programmes and services

• Student Care Centre - weekly devotions and moral education, using the Bible as a teaching resource
• Learning Centre - help children with learning difficulties and from families with disadvantaged learning background
• School Social work - working with various Secondary and Primary schools through programmes such as assembly talks, seminars, workshops, groupwork and counseling
• Youth Centre - connect youths from the Schools who are interested in the Christian faith to establish a Youth Christian Fellowship at Bukit Batok Preaching Point
• Parenting Centre - help train parents in the community in their parenting skills
• Counselling Centre - help referred families and parents of the children and youth and bring healing

BRMC, in partnership with MCYC, is involved in community outreach in the Bukit Batok HDB estates through the Praise Kidz (Primary School children), Oasis Youth (Secondary/ITE students) and the Praise Fellowship (Parents) programmes. In June, BRMC will be launching a Preaching Point at Bukit Batok.

MCYC supports the Bukit Batok Preaching Point

• Connect volunteers, full-time workers and the Pastor with the people in the community through joint events
• Help at the Praise Kidz programme, the Oasis Youth and the Praise Fellowship
• Channel youths and adults who seek spiritual help
