"Experiencing Spiritual breakthroughs The powerful principle of the Three chairs" Bruce Wilkinson LifeWay Church Resources, 1999
The author uses the principle of 3 chairs to illustrate 3 different types of persons and faith in God: a committed Christian; a believer who hasn't decided how much or little time they will follow Christ; and someone who has not responded personally to God. We will discover that we have sat in each one of these chairs in our lives. Thru the book, we will also examine how these chairs relate to 3 key areas of in our lives and how we can make spiritual (God motivated & God helped) breakthroughs in those areas.

"The Purpose Driven Life" Rick Warren Zondervan, 2003
This well-known book contains 40 days of studies to help us discover "What on earth am I here for?" The author breaks the studies into 5 main purposes of the life God want us to be: planned for God's pleasure; formed for God's family; created to become like Christ; shaped for serving God; and made for a mission.
By the end of the book, the author hopes that we will know God's purpose for our life and will understand our "Big picture" - how all the pieces of our life fit together. This perspective will help reduce our stress, simplify our decisions, increase our satisfaction and most importantly, prepare us for eternity.

"Women who believed God" Winnie Christensen Waterbrook Press, 2001 (revised edition)
This is a compilation of studies on characters in the Bible whom we normally overlook: Eve, Rahab, Mary Magdalene, Naaman's slave girl (who?), Lot's wife, Hannah, Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Mary (Lazarus' sister), Elizabeth, Salome, Eunice, Lois, Sarah and Anna. We do find the insights from these studies relevant as we seek to align our lives and life-styles to please God.
