ST. LUKE’S ELDERCARE WHAMPOA CENTRE
BLK 97 WHAMPOA DRIVE #01-222 www.slec.org.sg
• Barker Road Methodist Church has just formed a partnership with St Luke’s ElderCare Whampoa Centre.
• Our Objective: Befriend about 55 Elderly Members and plant the seeds of the saving grace of Christ.
• The Centre provides a range of day-care services like wellness and active rehabilitation.
• The Elderly interact with others, exercise, sing, worship and watch television.
• The harvest is plenty but the workers are few. We are praying that church members will volunteer to go to the Centre on Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm to befriend the elderly folks as a form of outreach and to uphold the name of Jesus.
