SUMMARY:Ordinary Time after Pentecost
DESCRIPTION:WHAT IS IT?\nOrdinary Time refers to the time between the two cycles of Advent-Christmas-Epiphany and Lent-Easter-Pentecost. They are marked as “After Epiphany” and “After Pentecost” respectively. \nWHY DO WE CELEBRATE IT?\nOrdinary Time itself has no central theme\, but Scripture readings during After Pentecost often emphasise the Kingdom of God and the reign of Jesus\, through the work of his body\, the Church. We learn that the ministry of Jesus to the world continues through us\, and we minister out of the blessed hope we have of his glorious return. \nNOTHING ORDINARY ABOUT ORDINARY TIME\n“Ordinary” comes from the word “ordinal”\, referring to how the weeks are counted in order (e.g.\, 1st Sunday After Pentecost\, 2nd Sunday After Pentecost\, and so on). \nWHAT DO WE DO?\nWorship during this time generally adopts themes more related to the sermon series than the season itself. The season is punctuated by special holy days\, the source of the word “holiday”. \nGreen is used to signify growth and life. \nSpecial Days are observed\, including TRAC Conference Sunday. \nBOOKENDING THE ORDINARY\nThe first Sunday of After Pentecost is Trinity Sunday\, focusing on the doctrine of the Holy Trinity\, a crucial underlying statement of faith for all Christians. SUMMARY:CONNECT - Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Join us for weekly pickleball sessions for a time of inter-generational bonding with our church family! \nWhether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner\, everyone is welcome—children\, youth\, adults\, and seniors alike. We’ll teach newcomers the game\, and equipment (paddles\, balls\, and nets) will be provided. \n🧒 Free for children 12 and under\, & seniors 55 and over💵 $4 per session for all others (payable via QR code at the entrance)👟 Sports attire with non-marking court shoes required🚫 No food in the Auditorium. Bring your own water/drinks \nParticipation is only open to BRMC members. \nVolunteer with us! \n\n\nWe need committed volunteers to help set up and return all equipment at the end of each session.  If we can get 12 volunteers\, we will roster 2 volunteers per session.  Commitment will then be once every 6 weeks. \nWhatsApp Chat Group\nAll participants will be placed in a BRMC Pickleball WhatsApp group for ease of communication.\n\n\nRegister your interest

SUMMARY:EQUIP - Growing as Disciples in Christ (GDIC Module 2) (#10/11 - Tues)
DESCRIPTION:The Growing as Disciples In Christ (GDIC) programme is made up of three modules\, based on the established 2:7 series by The Navigators\, which started in January 2026. \nGDIC Module 2 (of 3) will take place over 11 weeks. During this course\, we will: \n\nCultivate the habit of daily devotional time and learn to spend extended time with God\n⁠Learn to evangelize and share our salvation story\n⁠Study the Bible on spiritual warfare\, knowing God’s will\, how to grow in faith as disciples of Christ.\n\n*Participants will need to have completed GDIC Module 1 before signing up for GDIC Module 2. After completing this course\, participants can then choose to continue on to GDIC Module 3 (Bearing Fruits in Christ). \nChoose to attend the Tuesday Group (8pm-10pm) OR Saturday Group (10am-12pm).
