In this practical\, biblical session\, Rev Barnabas Chong will explore how Christian men can remain faithful to Christ in the marketplace\, standing firm against challenges related to integrity\, ambition\, success\, compromise\, relationships\, and the pursuit of wealth. Discover how God’s Word equips believers to honour Him and be a faithful witness wherever He has placed them. \nAbout the Speaker \nRev Barnabas Chong served in pastoral ministry for over 25 years in the Methodist Church\, following his early ministry in an independent church\, before retiring at the end of 2024. He now serves as an itinerant minister\, preaching and teaching wherever the Lord leads\, with a focus on worship\, discipleship\, and intercession\, and a desire to see church growth and revival. DESCRIPTION:Following the earlier session on Understanding Dementia held on 28 Mar 2026\, this talk continues the conversation by exploring how we can better support persons living with dementia and care for our own brain health. \nLearn practical ways to support healthy brain function\, recognise early warning signs of dementia\, and respond to behavioural changes with greater understanding and compassion. SUMMARY:CONNECT - Pickleball
DESCRIPTION:Join us for weekly pickleball sessions for a time of inter-generational bonding with our church family! \nWhether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner\, everyone is welcome—children\, youth\, adults\, and seniors alike. We’ll teach newcomers the game\, and equipment (paddles\, balls\, and nets) will be provided. \n🧒 Free for children 12 and under\, & seniors 55 and over💵 $4 per session for all others (payable via QR code at the entrance)👟 Sports attire with non-marking court shoes required🚫 No food in the Auditorium. Bring your own water/drinks \nParticipation is only open to BRMC members. \nVolunteer with us! \n\n\nWe need committed volunteers to help set up and return all equipment at the end of each session.  If we can get 12 volunteers\, we will roster 2 volunteers per session.  Commitment will then be once every 6 weeks. \nWhatsApp Chat Group\nAll participants will be placed in a BRMC Pickleball WhatsApp group for ease of communication.\n\n\nRegister your interest
