DESCRIPTION:How different would married life be from your life now as a committed dating couple? If God brought both of you together\, surely He must have a manual for living as one family unit? Come learn what the Bible has to say about God’s design for your marriage and build a marriage that honours God and one which will bring you lasting joy. \nPlaces are limited to 15 couples on a first-come\, first-served basis. (It is highly recommended to attend the course at least one year before your wedding date.) \nThis programme includes private couple sessions with marriage mentors and is compulsory for all couples wanting to marry at BRMC. \nThe course has two parts. \nPart 1: Five teaching sessions led by experienced speakers.\nPart 2: Six private mentoring sessions with your Marriage Mentors. \nCompletion of both parts is mandatory. \nTopics covered include: \n\n Marriage – The Biblical Perspective\n Communication and Managing Finances\n Resolving Conflicts\n Intimacy & Family Planning\n Children\, Work-life & family life\n\nDates: \n6\, 13\, 20 Jul\, 3 & 10 Aug 2024 \nTime: 1.30pm-4.30pm\nVenue: BRMC L2 Training Room (Near Swimming Complex)

DESCRIPTION:Prayer is two-way communication with God our Father\, which is essential in every Christian’s life. \nPerhaps you are a new believer\, or you have been a Christian for a while – You find it hard to make time to pray\, or you can’t seem to find the words to say when you want to pray. Don’t worry\, you are not alone. \nThis 3-hour workshop is designed to help you learn to pray more regularly and fruitfully. During the session\, we will not just teach you but we will practice together! \nYou will learn: \n• What is prayer and why we need to pray\n• Types of prayers\n• How to pray in response to God’s word \nRegister  \nRegistration closes 17 Jul 2024.  \nThis workshop is part of Discipleship 101 – a basic programme comprising three 3-hour workshops on Devotional Life\, Prayer and the Bible – for new believers and long-time believers looking to reset their spiritual growth and build a personal connection with God.
