Oasis BRMC Mission @Bukit Batok

Oasis BRMC Mission, also known as Oasis, serves the community through programmes for the disadvantaged and holds English and Mandarin worship services on Sundays.

What Oasis offers

Tuition, for needy local students
Learning Centre, for migrant children/youth to receive daily academic help that prepares them for local entrance exams into Singapore mainstream schools
Praise Kidz, a fun-based Christian programme to plant seeds of faith in the neighborhood children
Methodist Youth Fellowship, a youth ministry that reaches out to both local and migrant youth to share the gospel and help them grow deeper spiritually
Parent Fellowship, a gathering of parents from the neighborhood to learn from experienced speakers on various parenting issues to promote parenting confidence
St Luke’s Hospital Ward Adoption, to befriend patients at St Luke’s Hospital and share God’s love and compassion
Social Concerns, to provide practical help and social support to low income and disadvantaged persons and families, and journey with them in times of need

In 2006, God brought together a small group of Christians from Barker Road Methodist Church to plant His vision of a faith community at Bukit Batok. Over the years of planting and sowing, God has established an inter-generational faith community, comprising people of different nationalities and different walks of life, with a strong missional focus.

We have grown since:

Congregation size (pandemic): 110 regulars
Church school attendance: 82 (children, youth, young adults, adults, seniors), 12 classes
Prayer Meeting: 34
Number of small groups: 16
Tuition outreach students: 50 (helped by 90 tutors)
Migrant outreach students: 13 (helped by 35 tutors)
