MINISTRY STAFF (PASTORAL TEAM STAFF) AT BRMC AT BUKIT BATOK
reports to the Head of Ministry and will be located at Bukit Batok

* * R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S * *

CORE MINISTRIES

  • Prayer Ministry: Attend and support the church prayer meeting held every Tuesday night
  • English Worship Service: Liaise weekly with the hospital staff on the setting up of the premises at St Luke Hospital for Sunday Services, and follow-up with visits with the male patients
  • Church School Ministry: Prepare and teach church school lessons
  • Social Concern Ministry: Deliver cheques, and befriend needy families, as well as bring NTUC vouchers to those families who are supported by BRMC’s OSC ministry

OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  • Praise Kids: Make calls to families to encourage them, and register their children for the programmes
  • Parent’s Fellowship: Make calls to parents encouraging them to register for parenting talks, and also their children for the Praise Kidz programme
  • Tuition Programme: Supervise the running of the programmes on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons 
  • Wednesday Children’s Programme: Encourage participation and teach the children to respect, be attentive and co-operate with the volunteers during the programme
  • Youth Sports: Bring students from our learning centre, as well as students in our outreach programmes to play basketball and badminton together with the children and youths in the neighbourhood

  • Preferably possess a Theological Degree or Diploma
  • Possess Pastoral Care experience
  • Possess 2 years of work experience
  • Needs to be fluent in both English and Chinese
  • Be to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Be a self-motivated, pro-active, and innovative team player

 
PASTORAL TEAM STAFF-AUDIO VISUAL
reports to Heads of Ministry and will be located at Barker Rd

* * R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S * *

OPERATIONS

  • Assemble, operate and maintain the technical equipment used for live sound reinforcement and audio visual presentations before, during and after Sunday Worship Services, and other services and events including Worship Band Rehearsals, Weddings, Holy Week, Good Friday, Christmas, Watchnight Services, and others as determined and directed by the HoMs
  • Direct and perform sound and technical checks for services and events
  • Meet and work with HoMs to determine the desired audio and visual presentation during services and events to facilitates and encourage worship

TRAINING

  • Train, mentor and direct volunteers to assemble, operate and maintain technical equipment used for live sound reinforcement, and audio visual presentation at services and events
  • Build and lead teams of sound and audio visual ministry volunteers, and develop them in the culture of worship and service
  • Train and direct Worship Leaders, Singers, Choir, Musicians, and other volunteers and staff in the handling and use of the technical equipment

MAINTENANCE

  • Manage and maintain the inventory of technical equipment, musical instruments and other relevant equipment
  • Anticipate and correct problems that may affect audio and visual presentations at services and events
  • Consult, supervise and work with external contractors

OTHERS

  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the HoMs

  • Possess experience in the Audio Visual field
  • Possess 2 years of work experience
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision

HUMAN RESOURCE EXECUTIVE
reports to the Human Resource Manager and will be located at Barker Rd

  • Administrative and operational HR work

  • Preferably possess a bachelor’s degree, and professional HR qualifications
  • Possess 3-5 years of relevant HR generalist experience
  • Be well-versed with the Singapore Employment Act, and other employment-related policies and practices
  • Be to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Be a self-motivated, pro-active, meticulous and innovative team player
