Ready as a couple to embark on your next step towards marriage?

Sign up for the Marriage Preparation Course which is designed for couples to prepare for and evaluate their relationship as a couple before embarking into marriage. Through biblical teaching and private mentoring sessions offering practical tips, couples will learn how to build a Christ-centered marriage that honours God and brings lasting joy.

Conducted over 5 teaching sessions and 6 private mentoring sessions, this course is a pre-requisite for couples to be married by Barker Road Methodist Church.

Topics include:

• Marriage from a biblical perspective
• Communication and managing finances
• Managing conflicts
• Intimacy and family planning
• Children, work life, and family life

Dates: Sundays, 4, 11, 18, 25 Jan & 1 Feb
Time: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Venue: BRMC L2 Training Room

Please note:

• Couples are strongly encouraged to attend the course one year before their wedding date.
• Registration closes by 14 Dec 2025, with capacity being limited to 15 couples per run on a first-come, first-served basis.
