Barker Road Methodist Church (BRMC) warmly welcomes Pastor Joshua Loke who will join us as Assistant Pastor from 1 August 2026. Ps Joshua now serves at his home church, Fairfield Methodist Church.

We also congratulate our church member and pastoral team staff, Pastor Luke Yan, who has been admitted to TRAC as MOT (Member on Trial) and appointed as Assistant Pastor at Bedok Methodist Church (BMC) with effect from 1 August 2026. (Watch: The Call to Full-Time Ministry.)

We rejoice with him and trust that he will be a blessing to BMC, as he has been to BRMC.

These appointments were announced at the TRAC 2026 Special Session held on 18 July 2026.

Candidates who begin their journey as pastors in the Methodist Church in Singapore are received into the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC) as members-on-trial (MOT). The MOT phase is usually a four-year period of formal preparation for ministry as a pastor.
