The Old Testament offers Christians a rich resource for building our faith and deepening our relationship with God. If you’ve ever wanted to read the Old Testament but have asked, “Where do I begin?” this four-week course is for you! If you’re familiar with the Old Testament but are looking for new ways to read it, this program is for you, too!
Dr Daniel Hawk will take us on a journey into the Old Testament through these Gateways in 4 Zoom sessions:
| Part 1 | The Gateway of the Storytellers, who draw us into the drama of God’s saving work in the world. |
| Part 2 | The Gateway of the Priests, who teach us how to be a worshiping people. |
| Part 3 | The Gateway of the Prophets, who call us to align our vision with God’s vision. |
| Part 4 | The Gateway of the Sages, admonish us that good character brings a good life. |

September 8: The Priests
The priests teach us how to worship God and to live well-ordered lives. This class will explore passages from the Exodus, Leviticus, and the Psalms to learn what priests have to say about communing with God, living within boundaries, and pursuing holiness.
