A Local Conference meeting in the Methodist church is a governing body and annual business gathering for an individual congregation, where the Pastor-in-Charge (PIC), Local Church Executive Committee (LCEC), and ministry leaders come together to review the life and ministry of the church, receive reports, and make decisions on key church matters.
Chaired by the TRAC District Superintendent, it serves as the official link between Barker Road Methodist Church and the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC), ensuring accountability and alignment with the wider Methodist Church.
The TRAC Annual Conference is an annual gathering of pastors and laity of the 21 English-speaking Methodist churches in Singapore. Through its network of local churches, TRAC works to strengthen discipleship, leadership development, and church growth within the Methodist community. Within the connectional structure of the Methodist Church, the Annual Conference provides oversight, pastoral support, and coordination for ministries carried out by its congregations.
